GRENFELL – A 30-year-old Regina man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious assault in Grenfell on Nov. 22.
Broadview RCMP say they received the report of the assault at about 10:15 p.m. Officers immediately responded. Their investigation determined there was an altercation between a group of individuals. A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Kyle Wood, 30, and Tracey McNabb, 25, both from Regina, were arrested. Wood was charged with attempted murder and McNabb with aggravated assault and uttering threats.
Wood and McNabb appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on Nov. 24.
Broadview RCMP say they continue to investigate with help from Saskatchewan RCMP’s General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification Services, Moosomin, Fort Qu’Appelle, Indian Head, and Esterhazy detachments, and File Hills Police Service.
