Police vehicle involved in collision while responding to call

The officer was travelling with emergency lights and sirens activated when he was involved in a collision.

Both vehicles were no longer drivable as a result of the collision and were towed from the scene. 

PRINCE ALBERT – A Prince Albert police officer was involved in a collision while responding to a weapons complaint call.

On March 19, just before 2:30 pm, while responding to a report of a weapons complaint in the 3200 Block of 2nd Avenue West, a member with the Prince Albert Police Service was involved in a motor vehicle collision. The officer was travelling with emergency lights and sirens activated when he was involved in a collision at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 28th Street West.

Parkland Ambulance attended the scene and tended to minor injuries, but didn’t take anyone to hospital.

Both vehicles were no longer drivable as a result of the collision and were towed from the scene.
