P. A. police search for 4 women facing charges in violent assault

Police are searching for four women in connection to a violent assault against a 21-year-old woman who suffered serious injuries.

PRINCE ALBERT – Police are searching for four women in connection to a violent assault against a 21-year-old woman who suffered serious injuries.

Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) are searching for Chelsea Kakakaway, 36, Abby Abraham, 26, Roberta Smith, 34, and Shyanna Michel, 18.

Police have already arrested Joshua Goodvoice 24, Ryan Morrison 30, Shyanne Bear 29, Jordanna Napope 25 and Amanda Venne 33, in connection to the assault.

All nine people face charges of aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, robbery, and uttering threats. 

PAPS say they responded to a well-being check of a woman on Highway 2 and Highway 55 early on the morning of Jan. 8, and when they arrived, they found a seriously injured woman. She was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.
