REGINA – A second person has been charged in the homicide of 42-year-old Christopher Seaton of Regina.
On April 17, Regina Police Service (RPS) charged 38-year-old Alexandra Dubois of Regina with accessory after the fact to murder. She will make her first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on May 27.
Police had been called at about 12:20 a.m. on April 10 to a home in the 400 block of East College Avenue after a caller reported there was an injured male on scene. When officers arrived, they found the victim and tried life-saving measures. EMS arrived on scene and declared Seaton deceased.
Smeaton is the city’s second homicide of 2025.
On April 10, 36-year-old James Dubois of Regina was arrested in Davidson by RCMP, Regina Police Service Patrol, SWAT, Canine Units, and the RPS Aerial Support Unit. He was charged with first-degree murder.
Dubois made his first appearance in a Regina court on April 11.
