NORTH BATTLEFORD – A man facing drug trafficking and weapons offences is headed to trial in May in North Battleford Provincial Court.

Christopher Daniel Ludviksen is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, and numerous weapons-related offences.

Ludviksen, 37, and Adam Morin, 32, both of Glaslyn, along with Renelle Bugler, 26, of Lloydminster, Sebastian Sanderson, 23, of Saskatoon, and a young offender were arrested by the North Battleford RCMP General Investigation Section in March 2022.

Police say they got a call on March 18, 2022, about an unwanted person inside a home on 33rd Street in Battleford. Their investigation led to a search warrant and they seized two semi-auto handguns, two other firearms, a significant amount of cash, and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine.

RCMP North Battleford General Investigation Section took over the investigation into the origin of the seized semi-auto handguns and on March 24, with the assistance of the Turtleford/Glaslyn RCMP, they raided a home on 2nd Avenue in Glaslyn where police seized three semi-auto handguns.

Morin had an appearance in court on Jan. 23. The charges against Sanderson in this incident were stayed in Saskatoon Provincial Court and a bench warrant is still out for Bugler who failed to appear in court in April 2022.
