PRINCE ALBERT – Five people been have been sent to hospital, one with serious injuries, after a vehicle collided with a power pole in the 1000 Block of 22nd Street East early Sunday morning.
Prince Albert Police Service say they got a call at about 12:46 a.m. on Nov. 19 that there was a vehicle collision with injuries. When police arrived, they located the vehicle that collided with a power pole.
Five people were taken to hospital with various injuries and the 22-year-old driver has since been transported to Regina with serious injuries.
The Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Unit continue to investigate with assistance from the RCMP North Forensic Collision Reconstruction Team.
The public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area on Sunday while police continue to investigate. Police are asking anyone with video surveillance with a view of 22nd Street East from 6th Avenue East to 10th Avenue East to contact police at 306-953-4222
