SASKATOON – Bail conditions were eased in Saskatoon Provincial Court Tuesday for a pharmacist charged with drug trafficking.

Jenna Ternan, 41, was arrested in February as part of a major drug trafficking investigation that resulted in the seizure of more than 700 oxycodone pills alleged to have been connected to Ternan.

The condition eased for Ternan was that she not be at the Northumberland Pharmacy unless with a professional and arranged in writing. The federal Crown told Saskatoon court that all of the prescription drugs have been removed from that location.

In January and February, Saskatoon police had raided a pharmacy in the 900 block of Northumberland Avenue, four homes, and two vehicles. They seized 20,285 grams of methamphetamine packaged in one- and two-kilogram quantities, 8,040 grams of cannabis packaged in half-kilogram quantities, more than 700 oxycodone pills, 1,038 grams of buffing agent, $12,940 cash, modified fully automatic prohibited Glock 9mm handgun with extended magazine, multiple mobile phones, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Ternan was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, unsafe storage of a firearm, and failing to hold a firearm license.

Elmer J. Hanson, 46, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking of a schedule 1 substance, obstruction, unsafe storage of a firearm, and failing to hold a firearm’s license.

Mohamed Jomha, Liban Ali, and Kennieth James Pauls were charged with trafficking in Methamphetamine, possession for the purpose of trafficking in Methamphetamine, Oxycodone, and Cannabis, possession of the proceeds of crime, and several firearms-related offences.

The four homes raided were in the 1000 block of Schuyler Street, 1900 block of 7th Street East, 900 block of Pringle Crescent, and 700 block of Hart Road.

The charges against the accused haven't been tested in court.
