5 Tips to Protect your E-Bike Battery This Winter!

You invested in your health and well-being by purchasing an e-bike, so be sure to protect it!

Here are some tips on how you can protect your e-bike and battery this winter.

Be sure to share with other riders!

1. Don’t let your battery catch a cold! Remove from your bike and bring your battery indoors for the season.

2. Store your battery in a cool, dry location and off of metal - your battery likes a similar climate as your cured meats and canned tomatoes.

3. Contrary to popular belief, 100% isn’t always optimal. Maintain a charge between 55-80%.

4. Give your battery a boost by charging it for 20-30 minutes once a month to retain cellular memory.

5. If you’re brave enough to venture out for a wintery ride, best practice is to avoid exposing your battery to -5°C and wipe off any salt.
