YORKTON - Update: On July 17, Manitoba RCMP located and arrested Trevor Mattiuz at a campground near Gimbli, Man. Trevor Mattiuz was wanted on warrant by Yorkton RCMP for being unlawfully at large.
Original post: Authorities in Yorkton are asking for public assistance in finding Trevor Mattiuz, 43, who did not return to the Yorkton Correctional Centre as required on Tuesday afternoon.
Mattiuz is wanted on a warrant for being unlawfully at large. He was last seen at a local business in Yorkton around 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, wearing a grey sweatsuit.
He is described as five foot six, weighing 185 pounds, with brown eyes and dark blonde hair. Mattiuz also has distinctive tattoos, including “RM” on his right hand, “13” on the right side of his chest, and “20” on the left side.
