YORKTON – Construction continues on York Road as Phase 2 of the York Road Reconstruction is currently underway.
"Phase 1A is complete, but the roadway will not be open to traffic for approximately two weeks until Phase 1B is complete," according to the City of Yorkton's Public Works.
Phase 2 extends road closures 4th Avenue North, with a detour in place on Imperial Street for local traffic and vehicles accessing businesses businesses along York Road.
Phase 2 is expected to take approximately three months to complete.
