YORKTON – The public came out to support multiple vendors at Condessa Plaza's first Parking Lot Party Aug. 27.
"I wanted it to be like a street festival farmer's market sort of thing," said Karen Poppenheim, event organizer and owner of North 40 Fabrics.
Poppenheim said about 10 vendors were in attendance offering a multitude of goods.
"We have a lot of great vendors who sell their products in the [North 40 Fabrics]," said Poppenheim, later adding, "the whole idea behind this was to shop local and support local — there's lots of local businesses and local vendors — local things to the support."
