YORKTON – The Yorkton 14U Bongos Volleyball teams had a great season.
This year saw the club gain more athletes than ever before, resulting in the creation of two 14U boys’ teams, Bongos Green and Bongos Blue.
The teams participated in three tournaments throughout the season, culminating with both groups representing the club at Provincials in Saskatoon on April 21 and 22.
The Green team finished fourth in tier one and the Blue team finished seventh in the tier two division.
Coaches and volunteers said they were proud of the Bongos and the accomplishments of each team and the individual skill development of their athletes.
