Tom (Irving) Woronuik, March 26, 1938 - December 21, 2017. The family of Tom Woronuik are saddened to announce his sudden passing on December 21, 2017 in Gull Lake, AB. Tom was born on the family farm in Insinger, SK to Wasyl and Effie (Ukrainetz) Woronuik. Tom had an endless love for animals and it seems fitting that he was walking his beloved border collie "Rebel" at the time of his untimely passing. Tom is survived by his son Duane (Glenda), granddaughter Rianna Rae (Devon) of Saskatoon; special friend Janice Thomas of Edmonton; and numerous nieces and nephews in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Tom will also be missed by his family community of Gull Lake. Tom was predeceased by his parents Wasyl and Effie, 9 siblings and grandson Aaron. At Tom's request, there will be no service, rather a celebration of life for close family and friends will be held at his favorite watering hole, the Monkey Top Saloon, in Bentley, AB at 1:30 on January 6. To quote Tom's favorite expression…. "Happy Happy". Cremation entrusted to Oberhammer Funeral Chapel in Rimbey, AB. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local Animal Shelter.
