Mr. Ken Warcomika of Yorkton, beloved husband of Jeanne Pelletier passed away January 12, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Ken was born in Yorkton, SK on December 7, 1936. He was one of two children born to Paul and Fern Warcomika. During his life Ken held several jobs. He drove a delivery truck, taxi and his most recent job was driving and operating a cement truck for Yorkton Concrete where he worked for fifteen years until his retirement. Ken is survived by his partner, Jeanne; four children, Jo-Anna, Kenneth, Johnathon and Jeffrey; his sister, Shirley; his nephews Robert and Don. Ken had many hobbies in his retirement that included fixing cars and trucks. He enjoyed carpentry and plumbing. Ken was always looking for the best deal whether it be in flyers, garage sales or in the Bargain Hunter which he bought every week. In 1991 Ken was reunited with Jeanne Pelletier, the mother of his oldest child, and spent the remainder of his life with her. Ken was quickly accepted by her family. He had a new family and grandchildren that he loved and enjoyed spending time with. He will always be remembered as a partner to Jeanne, a brother to Shirley, an uncle, father and grandpa…but to most he was a good friend. The Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Doreen Day, Certified Celebrant officiating. The hymns, " Amazing Grace" and "Shall We Gather at The River" were included in the service. The interment followed in the Garden of Crucifixion at Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Sheldon Pelletier, Aaron Desjarlais, Dionne Pelletier, Rick Desjarlais, Arnold Racette and David Nokahoot serving as the casket bearers. Memorials in memory of Ken may be made to the Canadian Red Cross as gifts of remembrance. Condolences can be sent to the family at
