Evangeline Vallaster. April 26, 1944 - July 3, 2017. It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to Vange. She passed away at Royal University Hospital at the age of 73. She will be dearly missed by her stepson Kris, her stepdaughters Lis (Johan), Wendy, Tracey (Christopher), her daughters Cherise (Quentin) and Alison, two brothers Bob (Lori), Murray (Bernadette), sisters Carol and Paulette (Dick) along with numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by the light of her life, husband Robert, her parents, Alexander and Anne Michayluik and brother Lawrence. Vange worked in real estate for over 30 years. She and her husband opened up the Good Earths Shoppe in Yorkton, which they owned and ran, for 32 years. Vange loved the arts; paintings, plays, ballets, symphonies and concerts were her passion. Vange loved to entertain in her home and on her deck. She loved cooking, yard work, playing bridge with friends and watching CNN and the Home & Garden channel. She loved cards and photographs. She would look at them over and over. Time with family and with friends was her greatest pleasure but she took great pride in being a very successful, highly involved and helpful Real Estate Agent. A Celebration of her life will be held at Park Funeral Home, 311 3rd Ave. North in Saskatoon on Monday, July 17, 2017 (Vange's and Robert's wedding anniversary) at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations can be made to the Yorkton Arts Council or to Persephone Theatre.
