Mr. Joseph Urbanoski of Providence Place in Moose Jaw, formerly of Yorkton husband of the late Mrs. Joyce Urbanoski passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2012. He was eighty-one years of age. Joseph was born on September 19, 1930 in the Willowbrook district of Saskatchewan. Joe worked in Public Works for over thirty five years as a Town Foreman in various communities in Saskatchewan including Humboldt, La Ronge and Tisdale where he retired. Joseph was active in the Saskatchewan Public Works Association serving as a Board Member, Vice President and President. After retiring Joseph and Joyce returned to their roots and lived in Yorkton until Joyce passed away in May of 2008. Joseph later moved to Moose Jaw and lived the last few years of his life in Guardian Grove at Providence Place. Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Joyce and his son, Jody. He leaves to celebrate his life and
cherish his memory four children, Charlene (Jim) Lind, Foster (Judy) Urbanoski, Wendy Urbanoski and Gary Urbanoski; three grandchildren, Shawn, Joshua (Aletha) and Matthew; four great grandchildren, Jade, Kaden, Brayden and Lucas; as well as numerous relatives and family friends. He will forever and always be in our hearts. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre. Interment will follow in the family plot in the Gardens of St. John at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens. Memorials in memory of Joseph may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan as gifts of remembrance.
