Galen was born on October 31, 1941 in Lincoln, Maine, USA and entered into the arms of his Lord on March 23, 2012 after a complicated heart surgery. Galen is predeceased by his parents Linwood E. Tracy, Sr. and Mary Scheidmiller (Tracy) as well as his wife Ruby W. Tracy (nee Cole) in 2010. Galen is survived by his wife Katherine Tracy (nee Sikorski); two sons Galen Jr. (Debbie) mother of Kim, (Ginette) mother of Elishia, Andrew and Daniel, Patrick (Becky) mother of Grayson, (Elaine) mother of Katrina, Spencer, Lucas and Kullen; Katherine's children Brenda (Lorne) Walchuk and their children Carrisa (Jeff and Cheyenne) and Kelsey; Myron Sikorski and his children Lindsay, Leah and Dylan; Beverly Ford and her children Landon, Devon and Tianda; Lori (Brad) Derkachenko and their children Jordan and Kaitlyn; Karen (Gene) Zary and their children Justin, Travis, Shayla and Logan and Shawn (Laura) Sikorski and their children Alethia and Sawyer. In total, Galen has been blessed with 25 grandchildren and one great grand child. Galen is also survived by his two brothers Linwood Tracy Jr and Gerald Tracy and sister Geraldine Munn. Galen received his high school diploma in Lincoln, ME., USA. He graduated from the United Pentecostal Bible Institute on May 23, 1963 in Marysville, NB. Galen received his Doctorate of Divinity at Masters International School of Divinity in July of 2007. Galen pastored many churches throughout the United States and Canada. Most recently he was the pastor of Parkland Gospel Lighthouse Church in Yorkton, SK. He made a few trips to Africa to teach, baptize and do missionary work for the furtherence of the Gospel. He was well known among the brethren of the United Pentecostal Church and served among them, and the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ of Canada and U.S.A. He was also the Superintendent of A.L.J.C. Canada, and known as their Bishop. Galen's passion was for the souls of man and he will be remembered as a true and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from The Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home with Bishop Yaroslaw officiating. The organist, Gloria Ivanochko led the congregation in the singing of the hymns, "This World Is Not My Home", "I Am Thine O Lord", "I'll Be Listening", "Wear A Crown", "The Old Gospel Ship" and "Amazing Grace". Bishop Vernon Kelly, Rev. Winston McGillan and Rev. Ken Dressler gave tribute in eulogy to their dear brother in the Lord. Interment Services took place at the Yorkton City Cemetery with Bishop Yaroslaw officiating and Dick Ivanochko, Myron Sikorski, Kris DenBrok, Don Morrison, Dennis Munn and Brad Derkachenko serving as casketbearers.
