Thelma Doreen Ribchester passed away peacefully on January 1, 2017 at the Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK. Thelma was born on December 7, 1932, in Dauphin, MB, a daughter of Horace and Edna (nee Tucker) Hall. Thelma met Bob Ribchester, the love of her life, on a blind date and they were married August 20, 1952 in Dauphin. They started their life together in Yorkton SK. Although Thelma and Bob did not have children of their own, they always welcomed children into their home: Brenda, Bob and Debbie Quinn; Lorraine, Janet and Kelli Hall; Douglas and Sherry Kolebaba; John, Kyle and Kerra Daem; Cory and Jeffrey Larson; Kim and Kevin Carlson; to name a few. Thelma volunteered her time in the office at St. Andrew's United Church and Canadian Cancer Society. She was a faithful member of the UCW and UCT. Thelma was predeceased by her parents, Horace and Edna Hall; her husband, Bob; four-legged children, Martini, Velvet, Sandy and Purr; brother, Bob Hall; sister, Norma Kizuik, brother-in-law, Bill Kizuik and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Thelma leaves to mourn her four-legged companion, Lulu; sister-in-law, Anita Hall; nieces, Lorraine Cebryk, Janet Mondor and Kelli Hall; uncle, George Hall; auntie, Jean Tucker; many cousins, shared daughter, Debbie Quinn, beloved friends, Barb and Jeff, Jessica and Michael Spearey. Special thanks to cousin Laura Daem for the love and support shown to Thelma over the years. In accordance with Thelma's wishes, cremation has taken place and a grave side service will be held in the spring of 2017. Friends so wishing may forward their condolences to the family by visiting .
