Harvey Polegi

Mr. Harvey Polegi of Jedburgh, beloved husband of Iris Polegi, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Harvey met the love of his life Iris and they were blessed with four children. Harvey was a successful entrepreneur, along with the family farm he created a successful business with his sons. In Harvey's early years he served on many community boards and was involved with various sporting teams and was also an avid curler. If you ever came to visit there was always some type of sporting event Harvey was watching. When he was unable to curl he enjoyed watching curling and attending local curling events. Each spring Harvey and Iris travelled to Las Vegas and in the summer enjoyed their trips to Dauphin Country Fest and Craven Country Jamboree with family and friends. Saturday nights were reserved for dancing. Harvey and Iris attended many country halls where they enjoyed dancing  with their friends. Hunting, fishing, helping neighbours, socializing and marathon card games was what he loved to do. Harvey had a passion for everything he did but his greatest passion was working alongside his sons and at the end of a hard day he looked forward to the lights of home. Harvey is loving remembered by his wife Iris of 53 years; son Tim (Debbie), daughter Teresa (Doug), daughter Peggy (Mike) and son Trevor. 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren, brother Gerald (Jean) and a sister Jean, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
