Isabella Susan Parsons was born September 26, 1915 in Lanfine, AB and passed away at Weyburn, SK on July 7, 2017 at the age of 101 years. Survived by her son Arthur James (Jim) Parsons (Renée), Weyburn, SK; her daughter Gloria Kathleen Wrubleski (Robert), Regina, SK; her daughter-in-law Andrea Jeffrey (Brian), Calgary, AB; Grandchildren - Andrea Ann Parsons, Yelm, WA; Sean Parsons (Julie), Calgary, AB; Stacey Parsons (Ian), Ashcroft, BC; Sydney Thiessen (Craig), Krestova, BC; Tristan Wrubleski, Ottawa, ON; Chandra Carr (Larry), Regina, SK; Great-grandchildren - Hendrix and Scarlett Parsons, Calgary, AB; Norah Thiessen, Krestova, BC; Zoey and Kaya Wrubleski, Ottawa, ON; Kayl Carr, Regina, SK. Isabelle is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Sydney James Parsons (1983); her daughter Barbara Ann Parsons (1952); her son Sydney Dale Parsons (1981); brothers Norman Sanders and William (Bill) Sanders and sisters-in-law Eileen Sanders and Gloria Sanders and granddaughter Helen Alyce Parsons (1965). Isabella was the eldest daughter of Percy and Beatrice Sanders. Her family lived in Saskatoon where she attended elementary and high school. She met Syd Parsons when she was 14 and they were married March 30, 1933. They went farming near Saskatoon, but because of the drought conditions, they had to move back to Saskatoon in 1937. Syd and Isabella's first son Dale was born in 1934 and daughter Barbara Ann followed in 1938. In 1939 Syd joined the Navy as a telegrapher and in 1943 Isabella and the children moved to Toronto to be closer to him. In 1944 son Jim was born and daughter Gloria was born in 1947. When the war ended, the family moved between Toronto and Regina as Syd worked on his University Degrees. In 1956 they settled in Prince Albert where Syd was administrator of the North Central Hospital Council and Isabelle became active in the Ladies Auxiliary at Victoria Hospital. In 1964 Syd became administrator of the Yorkton Union Hospital. They enjoyed their life in Yorkton with good friends and neighbours, bowling and various other activities. Following Syd's death, Isabella continued to live in her home in Yorkton. She moved into an assisted living complex in Yorkton in 2005. There she enjoyed the various activities offered, especially shooting pool, shuffle board, bean bag baseball, musical entertainment and frequent visits to the mall. In 2012 Isabella moved to Hill Top Manor in Weyburn to be closer to Jim and Gloria. She enjoyed the friendships she made and the many activities she took part in at Hill Top. The family would like to thank the Hill Top staff for their loving care. A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Yorkton City Cemetery. Crystal Bailey, BTh officiated.
