Florence Alexandria Parno, (nee Diceman), died peacefully with family holding her hand on Friday, May 6, 2016, in Winnipeg. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her children Donna (Don) Engel, Bruce (Mary) Parno and Laura Little, grandchildren David, Michael (Melanie), Krista (Brad), Bruce, Brent (Nicole), Taira (Rob), Paul, Sarah, great-grandchildren Rydanna, Braeden, Benjamin, Kali, Brant, Jakob, Rayna, Brittany, Blaine, Sebastian, McKenzie, Isabella, Bailey, Caleb, Brionna and Cody, brother George, close niece Lisa Crozier and many nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, son Gerald and siblings Ruby, Mary and Harold. Florence was born on the farm near Yorkton, SK, May 20, 1927. She attended Mapleside School and graduated from Yorkton Collegiate Institute. She met Edward Parno at a school dance and they were married October 18, 1946. Florence lived in every western province and was an active volunteer in church and community wherever she lived most recently at Luther Home apartments. She took full interest in all the activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and relatives and friends. She remembered every birthday and anniversary. Memorial service will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Saturday, May 21, 11:00 AM.
