It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of James Joseph Onchulenko on July 23, 2017 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was 77 years of age. James was born on March 21, 1940 in the Stornoway district of Saskatchewan, a son of Mike and Dora (nee Eremko) Onchulenko. He spent several years farming in the Stornoway district but due to health issues James had spent the last 20 years at the Anderson Lodge in Yorkton and then at Orkney House of the Yorkton & District Nursing Home. He is survived by a brother Pete, sister Margaret & numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his father Mike, mother Doris, sisters Mary, Rose, Eileen and by brothers John & Nick. We would like to thank all the staff at the Anderson Village (Orkney House) for all the care given to James over the years. We would also like to thank the staff at the ICU of the Yorkton Regional Health Centre for the care given to James up to his passing. A graveside interment took place on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Yorkton City Cemetery.
