She had a wonderful retirement, traveling extensively with her daughter to Europe, USA, and across Canada. Frieda accepted Christ as her personal Saviour as a young girl. It is this hope and trust in God that sustained her throughout her life. She was actively involved in the church as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Women's Missionary Society, a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Seniors' group and a prayer warrior. Frieda found comfort in reading God's Word and kept these promises in her heart until her home going. A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, June 30 at Fraser Heights Funeral Chapel, Surrey, BC. The internment will take place at Springside Cemetery, Springside, SK, on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00am, Christie Hill Funeral Home in charge. Those who knew Frieda are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission, Vancouver, BC, or a charity of your choice.
