Donelda Neudorf-Polowy went to be with the Lord her Saviour on Saturday, September 8, 2012. She passed away at the Regina General Hospital in Regina, SK at the age of 66 years. Donelda, "Doni" as she was known to family and friends, was born on September 4, 1946 to William and Jean Kerr of Yorkton. Donelda and her brother, Rod shared their affection for animals at an early age. She loved her dogs Jayden and Jackson. Donelda started her career path working as a bookkeeper at Corb Motors in Yorkton. During this time she met and was married to Donald Neudorf and together they had two wonderful boys, Devryn and Dereyk. Throughout the years, the family have treasured and enjoyed one another. Donelda loved watching movies. After working for the Tower Theatre for 17 years her love for movies carried through to her next job when she went to work at Movies R Us. Donelda was most recently employed in Customer Service at WalMart in Yorkton. She enjoyed her job at WalMart because it allowed her to do two of her favourite things, visiting and shopping. Donelda enjoyed celebrating special occasions with her family and friends. She loved the summertime, sun tanning and camping in her "Cow Camper" at Fort Qu'Appelle, SK was a summer highlight. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake, collecting dolls and yes, watching movies. On August 23, 2003 Donelda married Peter Polowy at Nelson Lake where they made their home together. Donelda was predeceased by her parents, William and Jean and her brother, Roderick Kerr. Donelda is survived by her husband, Peter Polowy; sons, Devryn Neudorf and Dereyk Neudorf; precious granddaughters, Tearra Neudorf and Natalia Flamont; "Gramma" Marge Chernipeski and "Gramma" Elena Neudorf as well as numerous family and friends. A Visitation & Prayer service took place from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home, Yorkton, SK on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services were held from the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Yorkton, SK on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Byron Aaserude officiating. The organist, Rose Aaserude led the congregation in the singing of the hymns, "Amazing Grace" and "What A Friend We Have in Jesus." The Interment Service took place at the Yorkton City Cemetery with Shawn Solomon, Cory Young, Craig Magas, Travis Shorter, Donavon Shorter and Jarrett Ferris serving as casket bearers.
