Mr. Harry Mozilisky of Yorkton, beloved husband of Lorraine entered into Heaven on December 31, 2013 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre peacefully with his family by his side. He was 89 years of age. Harry was born February 7, 1924 on the family farm of John and Nelly Mozilisky. He was the oldest of five children which placed him with the responsibility of one day taking over the family farm. Harry took pride in his work which consisted of a full time farmer, grain buyer for 17 years, managed a farming implement dealership in Roblin, MB for 13 years then returned to Yorkton as a salesman for another farm implement dealer and continued on with the farm until he retired in 2005. Harry enjoyed spending time out at their cabin with their many friends and family he enjoyed golfing and was a master gardener and enjoyed tinkering around in his workshop. For many years after he retired they spent their winter months down in Texas. In 1944 Harry met his bride to be Lorraine Pister whom he married in 1947 on the family farm. Harry is survived by his loving wife Lorraine Mozilisky and their 3 children Deb (Barry) Nelson, Bruce Mozilisky, Carla (Bill) Wilson his grandchildren Lana (Sheldon) Cherkas, Tracy Nelson, Tyler Nelson; his great grandchildren which he adored Rylan Stern and Dylan Cherkas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his parents John and Nelly; his sister's Adella, Sylvia, and Helen and by his first born grandson Jason Stern. The Funeral Service was held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Rev. Father Francis Hengen of St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church officiating. The organist, Shirley Ostafie led the congregation in the singing of the hymns, "Be Not Afraid" and "Amazing Grace". Readers of scripture were Kelly Boychuk and Tracy Nelson. A tribute was shared by Lana Cherkas. Selected as honorary pall bearers were Barry Nelson, Ron Willis, Bill Wilson and "Everyone who was touched by Harry's life". The interment took place in the Garden of St. Mark at Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Bruce Mozilisky, Sheldon Cherkas, Randy Pister, Tyler Nelson, Rylan Stern and Dylan Cherkas serving as the casket bearers.
