Mrs. Pauline Hyshka of Yorkton, formerly of Wroxton and the Calder area, entered eternal rest on April 23, 2017. She was 98 years of age. Pauline was born on November 28, 1918 in the RM of Calder, a daughter of Pete (Procopik) Ursulak and Cathleen (Kalena) (nee Savliuk). She attended Liberal school and then gained experience working on various local farms before marrying Harry Hyshka in 1942. They resided on the Hyshka homestead. Pauline enjoyed cooking, canning and gardening, often giving her garden bounty away. She hosted many of her nephews and nieces during the summer months. While not a world traveler she did enjoy attending as many family weddings as possible. Pauline is survived by her two sisters Margaret and Vera and her brother Nicholas. Pauline was predeceased by her true love Harry in 1999 and daughter Margaret Elizabeth in 1944, her sisters Sophie, Mary and brothers Bill, Peter, Metro & John. Prayers were held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre. The Funeral Service was held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Very Rev. Father Mel Slashinsky officiating. The responses were led by Yvonne Panchuk and members of the parish choir. The interment followed in the Garden of Crucifixion at Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Sean Ursulak, Cory Ursulak, Bryan Aubie, Mike Aubie, David Couttie, Emil Strutynski and Raymond Galye serving as the casket bearers. Memorials honouring Pauline's life may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer Society as gifts of remembrance. Condolences can be sent to the family at .
