Mrs. Norma Gunderson beloved wife of Merv of Yorkton, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was 73 years of age. Norma was predeceased by her parents Lance and Selma Elliot, and one brother Allan. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, her husband of 48 years, Merv of Yorkton; son Larry (Debbie) Gunderson; two daughters, Leanna Gunderson of Yorkton and Linda (Gary) Sauser and their two children Rylan and Jayde all of Saskatoon; Norma's five brothers and four sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from Westview United Church. Interment to follow in the Yorkton Memorial Gardens. Memorials in memory on Norma may be made towards Cardiac Care at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre or to Westview United Church memorial fund as gifts of remembrance.
