Isabelle Hanna Graham, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother of Yorkton, SK, passed away very peacefully with her daughters by her side on December 28, just 16 days short of 101. Born January 13, 1917 to Elmer and Anna Christina Larson (Fredrickson) and step-daughter to Lawrence Larson, Isabelle grew up in Theodore. December 9, 1940 she married Ernest Graham of Swan River. During the Second World War, Isabelle kept the home fires lit with her first two young daughters Sharon and Donna, as her Ernie served overseas in the RCAF. After the war they lived in Moose Jaw and Swift Current, but eventually settled in Yorkton with their newest additions of Carol and Doug. The house on Bailey Drive was a house that was filled with love, laughter and a garden of memories, with the table ready and a cookie jar always filled. The matriarch of a welcoming home, her screen door swung open as she would run out to greet family with hugs when they pulled into the driveway. Her door was always open to those who need it. When Isabelle moved to Calwood Crescent the love - and table - went with her. Knitting was a passion and pastime for Isabelle, grandchildren clad with slippers and sweaters or tucked in with a special afghan was common throughout the years. She had many fond memories of growing up in Theodore including singing in the choir and being a CGIT leader. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Graham, beloved son, Doug, great-grandson, Rhett Mason Kozak and her three siblings, Lorne Larson, Margaret Uhi and Aileen Charles. She leaves to celebrate her life and family legacy, Sharon (Harold) Mills, Donna (Dave) Kozak, Carol (Wayne) Knoll. Isabelle was the most amazing Nana to ten grandchildren; Shelley (Brian) Wasyliw, Lorrie (Duane) Schultz, Tracey (Pete) Prosofsky, Dean (Tammy) Kozak, Christine Knoll, Brad (Lana) Knoll, Shaun (Jen) Kozak, Jodie Upshall, Ryan and Jeffery Graham. Great-grandchildren; Brandyn, Derek, Logan, Dylan, Keegan, Kurtis, Janelle, Nicole, Ryliegh, Felix, Oskar and Odin. Nieces, nephews, extended family and special neighbours, Joan Upshall, Val and Fred Hedley, Audrey Bodnar, Knoll family, Debbie Grunert and family, lifelong friend Rosie and anyone who shared time with her. The whole family would like to thank the wonderful nurses, care aides and all staff at the Yorkton District Nursing Home for their care and compassion while Isabelle was there and the staff at Christie's Funeral Home for their support and service. Friends so wishing may forward their condolences to the family by visiting www.christiesfuneralhome.com. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Christie's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
