Albert Shepard Genaille 1953 - 2012. It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their father Albert, who passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was 59 years of age. Albert had been sick for a few years. He was the oldest of seven children. He was employed at the Painted Hand Casino for many years. Albert liked to play guitar and sing. He always enjoyed a good laugh. He was a good one for joking, teasing and getting cheeky with others. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbert in 2005 and Mary in 2003, and by his good friend, Keith St. Paul in 2012. Albert leaves to mourn his passing and cherish fond memories, his children, family and many friends. His children: Micheal Strongquill (Paige) of Keeseekoose First Nation, Michelle McNabb (Mike) of Yorkton, April Strongquill of Saskatoon, Amanda Quewezance (Sean) of Saskatoon, Sammi Genaille of Winnipeg, Janet Schmidt (Roger) of Prince Albert, MacKenzie Genaille of Yorkton, Albert Genaille Jr. (Suzy) of Yorkton. Also three brothers and three sisters: Alma Campeau (Dennis) of Yorkton, Julie McLeod (Rocky) of Yorkton, Gary Genaille (Joanne) of Yorkton, Lawrence Nepinak (Chris) of Regina, Lorraine Flatfoot (Marcel) of Dauphin, and Fred Nepinak of Regina. Albert also leaves fourteen grandsons and seven granddaughters. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from the Yorkton Friendship Centre with Pastor Ricky Flamont officiating.
