Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Betty (Lorne) Palmer of Regina and their sons Cory (Carrie) and Brad (Liza); son Walter of Calder and his children David (Kara), Sherry (Grant) Lindgren, Dean (Eileen) and Melissa (Ryan) Saminook and 10 great grandchildren. She is survived by brothers, Nick (Lena) Kohanski, Yorkton, Walter (Mary) Kohanski, Saskatoon, Eddie (Lil) Kohanski, Sudbury; sisters, Elsie Carpendale, Kelowna and Anne Inget, Thunder Bay and several nieces and nephews. Stephanie was predeceased by her husband Steve, brother Mike, sisters Jean Newirth and Ella Kachanoski; brothers-in-law Ollie Inget, Bill Carpendale, Louie Kachanoski and Fred Newirth; sister-in-law Jean Kohanski and niece Adele Kristof. Special thanks to all the staff at Parkside Extendicare who cared for her. The Prayer Service was held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton. The Requiem Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church with Very Rev. Fr. Peter Pidskalny, C.Ss.R. as the Celebrant. The responses were led by Ed Pindus, Colette Karapita and parish choir members. The cross bearer was Liza Palmer and the epistle reader was Lorne Palmer.
