FEDOROWICH- Judy Fedorowich, resident of Extendicare Fairmont Â鶹ÊÓƵ in Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the age of 52 years. Our dear sweet sister, Judith Terese Fedorowich, was born May 28, 1965 in Yorkton, SK. We learned how special and endearing she was when we first saw her. She had a kind, gentle and loving nature: one of God's little blessings. As a child, Judy attended John Chisholm School in Moose Jaw, SK. She worked at various agencies that employed disabled people. Judy loved all animals and was especially fond of kittens. She spent hours each week cuddling and feeding them at the Lethbridge Animal Shelter. Judy was predeceased by her parents: Ernest (2000), Veronica (November 2016) and brother-in-law Greg Chyz (2015). She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Mary Anne (Jeff) Jones, John (Sophia) Fedorowich, David (Gwen) Fedorowich, Irene Chyz, Daniel (Arlene) Fedorowich and Michael (Susannah) Fedorowich, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Judy was treasured by the staff of Fairmont Extendicare in Lethbridge, where she lived close to her mom. A sincere thank you is extended to all the staff at Extendicare who helped Irene so much in taking care of Judy. You will always be our little flower. Prayers were held on Sunday evening, November 19, followed by the Funeral Liturgy on Monday, November 20, 2017. Both services were celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton by Rev. Fr. Ray Lukie C.Ss.R. The Cantor was Laurie Fedorowich. The cross bearer was Darcy Fedorowich. The epistle readers were John & Sophia Fedorowich. The interment followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with brothers John, David, Daniel and Michael and nephews Zack & Gregory Chyz serving as the casket bearers. If one so wishes, donations can be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton for a mass for Judy, SaskAbilities Council or to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society. Condolences can be left at baileysfuneralhome.com.
