Aaron Winston Robert Junior Cote was born to proud parents Felicia Cote and Aaron Ledoux on October 1, 1988 in Yorkton, SK at the Yorkton Union Hospital. Aaron passed away on December 18, 2013 in Edmonton, AB at 25 years of age. Aaron's favorite saying was "I am so happy I can't even feel my arms." Aaron was known by a few special nicknames ~ his family lovingly called him "chun" since he was born ~ his friends called him "snootz". His recently self-proclaimed nickname was "Johnny Cash". His sisters also called him "tubby". If there was something new to try, Chun/Snootz gave it a try and excelled at anything he put his mind to, especially doubling on bikes, golf, fishing, camping, barbecuing and playing poker. He was a huge Saskatchewan Roughrider Fan as well as UFC fan. McDonalds was his favourite no matter what time of the day or night it was. Music was a mainstay in his life, he loved techno-music and going to Raves with friends and his side-kick cousin, Courtney, the one he called "kitchen lady". Aaron enjoyed being with his friends and family the best. He loved hugging and playing with his sisters. There is no greater bond than his love and respect for his brother, Brett. He particularly liked golfing and cutting strokes with his Great Auntie Sandra and others we don't know about, in case there was cash on the line. His most favourite was lovingly and respectfully ordering around Grandpa and Grandma Cote. "My precious handsome baby boy. You were the one that changed my life for the better. Every day that you were here you touched and inspired so many lives, especially mine. I will cherish all our memories crazy or not. You were my son, friend, protector... The main man in my life, which you now hand over to your brother, Brett to look after me, your little sisters, grandpa and grandma. Not a day will go by that you won't be missed but never forgotten for you will be forever in our hearts. I love you soooo much, words cannot express, my handsome baby boy. Until we meet again. Rest in Paradise my baby. Love Mom." "You were my friend. You were my first flower of my life. We shared thought as friends. I wanted to see my grandchildren from you. However I never knew about your quick call. Your time ended unexpectedly, soon enough, hard to forget. You will be missed. You will be remembered. May your soul Rest in Peace. Sooner or later, I, we, will, see you again. Love dad."
