Anne was born on March 6, 1924, daughter of Vendel and Mary (nee Hegyi) Molnar. She attended a one room school at West Otthon. Anne was united in marriage to Vince Chillog on October 25, 1943 at Holy Trinity Church in McKim. The couple lived and farmed in the McKim district, where Anne was a hardworking farmers wife. In the spring she would help Vince with the seeding and in the fall help him with the harvest by driving and unloading the grain truck. Anne kept a beautiful farm yard by cutting grass, keeping colourful flower beds, painting and planting large gardens and canning much of the harvest. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics and many other crafts. Anne was also an excellent cook, making many traditional Hungarian dishes. Vince and Anne retired in 1983 and moved into Yorkton. It was in their retirement that they started fishing, boating, and camping. They also did some travelling to such places as Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Disneyland and to the Maritimes. Due to medical circumstances, Anne found a new home in the Weber House at the Yorkton and District Nursing Home until the time of her passing on November 19, 2011. Anne was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Alex, Gusty, Andrew, Anton, Vendel and Alfred; sisters, Julia Dzuba and Olga Loster; brothers-in-law, Mike Dzuba, Walter Wheeler, George Nagy and Ron Schneider; sisters-in-law, Irene Molnar, Margaret Molnar and Alice Schneider; grandson, Eric and great grandson, Jordon. Anne leaves to cherish her life, her husband Vince; three daughters, Fran (Phil) Thirlwall, Ellie (Glen) Zulyniak and Mim Chillog (Bryce); six grandchildren, Kim (Les) Watts; Jason (Alison) Zulyniak, Jackie (Michael) Reece and Eddie Clapp, April Clapp and Jesse Clapp (Stephanie); ten great grandchildren, Matthew, Curtis, Kyler, Abrielle, Peyton, Leigh, MacKenzie, Dante, Summer and Sadie; sister, Agnes Nagy; brother, Roy Molnar; sisters-in-law, Gladys, Margaret, Pearl and Mary; brother-in-law, Gerald Loster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Prayer Vigil was held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church in Yorkton, SK with Father Francis Hengen presiding. The pianist, Diana Hornung, led the congregation and members of the parish choir in the singing of the hymns, "Christ Be Our Light", "Psalm 119", "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and "Lord of All Hopefulness". Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 24, 2011 from St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church with Father Francis Hengen presiding. The pianist, Pam Yaremko, led the congregation and members of the parish choir in the singing of the hymns, "Here I Am Lord", "Psalm 62", "Prayer of St. Francis", "Be Not Afraid", "Song of the Angels" and "Though the Mountains May Fall." The interment service followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Phil Thirlwall, Glen Zulyniak, Michael Reece, Eddie Clapp, Jason Zulyniak, and Jesse Clapp serving as pallbearers.
