Sheila Jean Beisel was born Sheila Jean Nicol on July 12, 1936 in Grenfell, SK. and passed away January 15, 2012 in Yorkton after several bouts of illnesses. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was predeceased by her parents Archie and Sadie Nicol, brothers Harry and Armor, and sisters-in-law Betty and Jean. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Lynn; daughters, Robin (Gary) Chambers, Cindy (Dale) Crow and Connie (Kent) Oliver; seven special grandchildren, Rae, Kraig, Jennifer, Shawn (Amanda), Andrew, Justin, and Matthew; a brother Lindsay; a sister Marjorie and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Sheila enjoyed reading, ceramics, liquid embroidery, bingo, and playing cards. Everyone knew the coffee pot was always on at the Beisel home, friends were always welcome to come in and have a cup. Sheila will always be remembered for her sense of humour and quick wit. Thank you to the Yorkton Nursing Home for making her last day pleasant ones. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. The funeral service was held on Monday afternoon, January 23, 2012 at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey officiating. The eulogy was given by Rae Chambers and Connie Oliver was the Candle Lighter. Urn bearers were Shawn and Andrew Crow and Kraig Chambers. Amanda Buhler led the congregation in "Amazing Grace" & "How Great Thou Art". Interment took place in the Garden of Memories. Arrangements were entrusted to Bailey's Funeral Home.
