PREECEVILLE - “The bike and skate park committee has been very fortunate in this year’s efforts for the canola crop fundraiser which was seeded on June 4 on the outskirts of Preeceville," stated Lorelei Karcha, Town of Preeceville administrator.
“Special thanks goes out to Hoterra Farms who generously donated the land again for the fundraiser, without them this would not be possible.
“Many thanks goes out to Cory Paul who organized many of the donations for this project. He supplied his time and equipment for the seeding and spraying,” continued Karcha. “We were also fortunate to have the seed donated by Wallin Farms. The bike and skate committee is extremely thankful for everyone’s support as this cannot be done without all of the sponsors.”
Later in the fall Pattison Ag will be donating the combining efforts for the canola.
