YORKTON - The final concert of the Yorkton Band Camp was held Friday at Yorkdale Central School.
The Saskatchewan Band Association (SBA), camp, which was held July 16 - 21, welcomed band students of all ages who had a minimum of one year of playing experience on their chosen instrument.
The camp offered comprehensive musical instruction for woodwind, brass and percussion students.
SBA camps are led by a team of qualified band and education professionals who share their musical knowledge with camp participants.
Throughout the week, camp participants benefited from; private lessons, sectionals, small ensemble work and various additional band and music-related educational sessions.
Participants also enjoyed a variety of on-site recreational activities throughout the week.
