OUTLOOK - If you were looking for an intimate spot to enjoy a free coffee and hear some good music, then the LCBI High School student chapel may have been the place for you on Sunday evening, February 13.
With coffee and goodies from Michael's Coffeeshop and Bakery, a handful of people came out to hear the musical stylings of four LCBI students: Jenna Fleck, Asta Hovdestad, Trason Ridgewell, and Liam Jones, who performed a number of cover tunes as well as a few original songs that kept the audience entertained throughout the hour-long performance.
The coffeehouse concert included songs such as "Send Me On My Way", "Make You Feel My Love", and "Lean On Me", as well as Ridgewell performing an original entitled, "Someday", which apparently was only written the day before. As well, Hovdestad performed one of her originals entitled, "Louder Than Words".
The enjoyable evening came to a close with everyone on the stage, accompanying Fleck as she performed her original song, "lonely blvd". The applause for all four talented students could then be heard ringing throughout the chapel.
