LAKE DIEFENBAKER - Outlook RCMP are reporting that the body of a missing paddleboarder has been located at Lake Diefenbaker.
On Sunday at about 12:45 p.m., Outlook RCMP received a report of a missing paddleboarder at the Douglas Provincial Park boat launch.
After investigating, police determined the man entered the water but did not re-emerge.
His body was recovered from the water later in the afternoon, and he was pronounced deceased by EMS at the location. Police are not providing further details at this time as they are in the process of notifying the next of kin.
The Elbow Fire Department and the Saskatchewan Protection and Response Team assisted in the operation.
