BBQ lunches at Outlook store grill up help for community groups

The summer sizzling season has begun at AG Foods with their weekly lunches.

OUTLOOK - Folks looking for a bite to eat in downtown Outlook got a steal of a deal on Thursday, May 9 if they stopped by AG Foods.

The location kicked off their annual BBQ lunch schedule for the summer, where the store grills up burgers and hotdogs and pairs them with chips and a cold drink for the almost-giving-it-away price of just $5.00.

The weekly barbecues provide financial support to local community organizations and sports teams.

This week's meal was in support of the Outlook High School Travel Club, and students were on-site lending a hand to hungry patrons as they lined up for either a burger or a hotdog. As well, a bake sale was held just beside the lunch site that was also raising funds for the Travel Club.
