Finals are over and semester two has now started in the land of orange. Several students from the Yorkton Regional High School attended the Justin Trudeau luncheon on Wednesdays, January 30. The students at the luncheon presented Mr. Trudeau with a "Hoser" T-shirt as a souvenir of his visit to Yorkton. The T-shirt was created by YRHS graduate Jason Farrell.
The annual York City Classic basketball tournament was held on February 1 and 2. This tournament took place at both the Yorkton Regional High School and the Sacred Heart High School gyms and it attracts teams from all over the province. There were teams in attendance that came from as far away as Swift current and Prince Albert. The Regional's final game resulted in a dramatic, double overtime victory over Prince Albert Carlton. Good job boys!
