Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Parkland Prairie Girl Guides Extra Ops unit, we extend a heartfelt thank you to the community of Yorkton for your support after our loss of bottles from our recent bottle drive. We have successfully recovered what was lost from this senseless crime and gained more because of this. We have gained faith in our community and in knowing that there are more good and upstanding citizens than there are those who do wrong. We have gained community support in our efforts and have built some new and exciting relationships with some other organizations because of this as well. While the contributions we have received are too numerous to list here, we thank the businesses who have offered assistance to these young ladies; to the organizations who have helped with donations of time and bottles and funds; to individuals who have called us to come get bottles to help us out; and to those individuals and businesses and charities who surprised us with cash donations thank you does not seem enough, but know that our girls are grateful for the generosity of this community and for the support we are receiving in our efforts.
