YORKTON - It was not a happy trip to Regina for the Parkland 18U AAA Expos Thursday.
The Expos did score a run in each of the first two innings, but the host Regina Wolfpack scored four in the home half of both innings.
From there the Expo bats went silent, while Regina added four more runs to win the game 12-2 in five innings.
Carter Phythian took the loss for the Expos lasting only two innings and giving up eight runs on seven hits. He did strikeout two.
The next action for the Expos has them scheduled to visit the Twins at Pirie Field in Melville May 31.
The Expos will host the Athletics June 1 at 6 p.m.
