The 26th Annual Autumn Summit was held at the Saltcoats Regional Park Friday morning. There were 901 runners from 44 different schools in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The two local high schools dominated in their categories, senior boys' (16 and over) 6km, and senior girls' (16 and over) 4km.
Brandon Campbell of the Yorkton Regional High School and Rylan Alexson of Sacred Heart placed first and second respectively in the boys' category.
Avery Westberg of the Yorkton Regional High School placed first in the female side, followed by Brooke Mentanko, Emily Kruger and Olivia Blenner-Hassett from Sacred Heart to round out the top four. Kyla Bassingthwaite and Braunty Pelechat, both of the YRHS, placed fifth and sixth.
