Preeceville hockey teams defeat opponents

Preeceville peewees on the move

            The Preeceville IP youngest hockey team took to the ice in a double match up against Yorkton on December 3. Both teams played for fun.

            The Preeceville peewee hockey team also hit the ice in a home game against the Yorkton Marks Work Wearhouse Terriers on December 3.

            “The teams were evenly matched with Preeceville recording a win of 6-3," said Wes Jaeb, coach. Scoring for Preeceville were Kaiden Masley (three goals), Trever Geistlinger, Seth Hort and Chaz Jaeb. Assists were by Archer Franklin and Chaz Jaeb.

            In other hockey action, the bantam hockey team defeated Melville 5-3 on November 29.  Scoring for Preeceville were Jacob Danyluk (two goals), Shelby Wallin (two goals) and Dylan Wiwcharuk. Assist were by Todd Pankratz, Zane Bayer and Shelby Wallin.

            The bantams took on the Langenburg Warriors in a game that ended with a 7-2 win on November 27. Scoring for Preeceville were Jacob Danyluk (two goals), Christan Acosta and Dylan Wiwcahruk (four goals). Assist were by Grady Wolkowski and Seth Rayner.

            Also on November 29, the Preeceville atoms hockey team defeated the Canora Black Cobras 10-5. Scoring for Preeceville were Kimmuel Albarracin (six goals), Mason Babiuk, Cole Secundiak (two goals) and Nathan Newbery. Assists were by Tristan Acosta, Mason Babiuk and Nathan Newbery.
