The Preeceville Junior Panthers football team remained undefeated throughout their regular season.
Going into their final match against Porcupine Plain on October 5 in Preeceville, the Panthers were determined to hold the record. It was huge win of 3318 over Porcupine Plain in front of a packed crowd.
鈥淭he team played hard and never struggled throughout the entire season, 鈥� said Bill Dodge, coach. 鈥淲e had a lot of young players that got the opportunity to play. We had a great season with players learning a lot and improving as the season went along.
鈥淭he players are all very dedicated to the sport and were all fundamentally strong. It has been a good three years since we have lost a game and the success is attributed to players having fun and being dedicated to the junior program,鈥� he said.
