The Outlook Blues senior boys basketball team hosted the LCBI Bisons in some cross-town court action on Thursday evening, February 11.  A healthy turnout of supporters packed the stands on the stage as they watched both local teams vie for a win.

The game was fast-paced and highlighted some impressive skills that were on display from members of both rosters.  However, once the Bisons found a way to take the lead on the scoreboard, they couldn't be stopped, and LCBI managed to stay on top of what OHS dished out, consistently remaining ahead by more than 20 points for the home stretch of the game.

With a few three-pointers and some fluid-looking lay-up shots, the Bisons looked good on the court.  That being said, the Blues were hardly going down without a fight.  There were a number of times in which Outlook swiftly took control of the ball en route to some hoops of their own, making this game an exciting one for the fans in attendance.

Still, LCBI maintained their substantial lead on the clock, and when the last buzzer sounded, it was the Bisons who went home the victors at a score of 68-40.

Students at both schools have just returned from their week-long winter break, meaning the basketball season will start to wind down with conference and regional tournaments, leading all the way to the provincial championship known as Hoopla, which takes place in Regina from March 23-25.
