The SUMA regional meetings will be held across the province from September 28 to October 7, including in Yorkton on September 29.
The meeting is a valuable opportunity for people from different municipalities to get together and talk about issues, says Mayor Bob Maloney, things like sewage, roads and infrastructure.
鈥淲hether it鈥檚 a city or a small town we all have the same issues,鈥� says Maloney.
The meetings have moved around to different locations in the region, and Maloney says聽 that this is a good way for SUMA to reach out to people in the region.
New programs, policies and issues will be debated. The meetings will also be used to set the direction for SUMA in the coming months.
The meetings will take place at the Gallagher Centre.
