YORKTON — Update, March 16: Jonathon Carlos Eugene Anaquod has been located and arrested. On Wednesday, March 15, at approximately 3 p.m., Anaquod was located in Fort Qu’Appelle and arrested by police. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Original post, March 12: The Yorkton RCMP is calling on the public to report any information that may lead to the whereabouts of 30-year-old Jonathon Carlos Eugene Anaquod, who is wanted for being unlawfully at large.
Anaquod, a resident of Yorkton, is described as a six-foot-two male weighing approximately 210 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos, including a "1923" tattoo on his right hand, full sleeve tattoos on both arms, an "SW" tattoo on his neck, and a "Sask Warrior" tattoo on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a grey and white Nike brand sweater, black pants, and white Nike brand shoes.
Anaquod was last seen on Smith Street near Yorkton at around 12:04 p.m. Saturday departing in a grey-coloured vehicle. Authorities are currently investigating the vehicle and license plate.
The Yorkton RCMP has been conducting extensive patrols in the community and is actively working to locate the suspect. Anaquod is known to frequent the areas of Regina and Saskatoon.
