A woman was injured early Tuesday morning in a single vehicle accident at Keeseekoose First Nation.

At nearly 4:30 a.m. on August 25 Kamsack RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle rollover at Keeseekoose First Nation, said a release from the RCMP. The initial investigation was that a pickup truck left the road, entered the north ditch and turned over.

A female passenger was reportedly trapped inside, but when RCMP arrived she had been removed from the vehicle, the release said. She was transported to Kamsack hospital by Kamsack EMS and then to hospital in Regina. Kamsack Fire Department was also on scene assisting.

Police were advised that another individual was involved in the collision and was no longer at the scene. RCMP continue to investigate the incident. No charges have been laid.
