Residents of the Village of Lintlaw elected a new mayor at the civic election on October 26.
According to Kathy Ambrose, administrator, there were a total of 89 voters who cast their ballots.
Bryce Murray defeated Irwin Lindholm by a vote of 53-36 for the mayor’s seat.
The four councillors elected were: Tyler Andrerson with 87 votes; Darrell Lesser with 78 votes; Greg Smith with 73 votes, and a tie for the fourth seat.
Brooke Murray and Leonard Johnson each received 53 votes.
"With a tie, we had to put their names in a hat and make a draw," said Ambrose.
Brooke Murray was the winning candidate.
